Delete your D8 account

Option 1: in the app (instant)

Open D8 and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm twice. Your account is deleted straight away.

Option 2: by email (if you no longer have the app)

Email privacy@meetd8.com from the email address you used for D8, with the subject "Delete my D8 account".

We'll confirm the request comes from you, then delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in details, profile, interests, preferences and photos
Your location
Your likes, passes, matches and messages
Your D8 dates, reviews, no-show reports and blocks

What we keep, and for how long

For safety and legal reasons, reports involving your account (including the messages saved with them) and content our filters flagged are kept for up to 2 years after your account is deleted, along with your email address, display name and account ID. Only the D8 team can see them, and they are only shared when the law requires it or someone's safety is at risk. After 2 years they are deleted automatically. See our privacy policy for details.
